Mr. Ison has been with Merrick Management since 2001. Mr. Ison provides knowledge of medical billing processes, information systems, practice reporting and benchmarking, practice development and administration, hospital and provider contracting, and credentialing. He has assisted numerous practices in transitioning billing companies, provided consultation and contracting support with facilities and performed reviews of financial performance with a wide range of practice venues within the anesthesia marketplace. Mr. Ison has focused solely on the management of anesthesia and pain management practices and the complexities and unique characteristics which are involved since 2001. Prior to coming to Merrick, Mr. Ison spent 8 years of providing financial oversight and reporting to clinical enterprises, business development, provider production review and management of clinical programs. Mr. Ison received his undergraduate degree 1992 and Master of Health Administration from the University of Kentucky 1995.

Mr. Nunnelley has been with Merrick Management since 2001. He has provided revenue cycle management, practice management, and administrative services for physician practices and hospitals since 1993. He currently serves as the Compliance Officer for Merrick Management, as well as provides groups with financial management, staffing model development, employment expertise, benefit management and administration, overall practice management expertise, as well as assisting with hospital and payer contract negotiation. Prior to his employment with Merrick, Mr. Nunnelley spent 9 years in physician practice management and hospital administration. Mr. Nunnelley received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Transylvania University in 1991 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky 1993.

Mr. Schoff has been with Merrick Management since 2001. Mr. Schoff provides Merrick Management with a comprehensive understanding of Anesthesia practices, as well as 30+ years of health care finance and accounting. Mr. Schoff is responsible for the oversight of billing and collection procedures, financial reporting and accounting and tax preparation and review. Prior to coming to Merrick, Mr. Schoff spent 3 years consulting with anesthesia practices as an independent consultant, along with private accounting. Mr. Schoff has worked with mid-sized and big eight accounting firms, primarily focusing on health care and tax. Mr. Schoff received his undergraduate degree in 1989 and Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 1993.

Tax and Managerial Account

Ms. McCormick has been associated with Merrick Management since 1978, and has provided a wide range of tax, accounting and practice management services to anesthesia groups during this time. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1989. Her responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate and individual income tax preparation, tax planning and consulting, and coordination of all types of employee benefits, including qualified retirement plans.
